Rice Krispy Reindeer Pops

We absolutely adore this healthier and way cuter version of kid-fave rice krispy squares. Swap out marshmallows with our protein-rich hemp hearts and peanut butter to keep your kiddo(s) full and strong all season long!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup Tiny Sprouts Hemp Hearts
3 1/2 cups rice krispy cereal

For reindeer decoration, you’ll need:

Candy eyes
Craft sticks or popsicle sticks
Red candy for the nose
Melted chocolate in piping bag

Directions:

  1. Prepare 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Melt coconut oil with peanut butter and honey in a medium sized saucepan set over medium heat. Stir until mixture is smooth and combined.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, salt, Tiny Sprouts hemp hearts and rice krispy cereal. Mix until combined.
  4. Using a spatula, evenly distribute cereal mixture into prepared dish. Place in fridge to chill for 10 minutes.
  5. Cut into rectangles for reindeer and carefully push sticks into the rectangles
  6. DECORATE!! Melt chocolate and then spoon into a plastic baggie. Cut a small hole in the corner of bag and to make antlers. Use a small dot of chocolate under the candy eyes and red candy nose to attach them to the rice krispy treat.
