Product FAQs

How do I use your products?

Our Organic Superseed Boosters are super simple to use. Just open the bag and ‘sprinkle and mix’ the recommended serving size into any of your little one's favorite foods. Our boosters can easily be included in purees, oatmeal/cereals, yogurts, pasta, smoothies, and more. If this is your first time introducing seeds to your little one, we recommend starting slowly with ½ - 1 tsp over a couple of days. While seeds are not a common allergen, it is always good to give your little one the time to get accustomed to a new food group.

From what age can my baby start using your products?

Our products are suitable for babies as young as 6 months. As our products contain probiotics, please consult your pediatrician before use especially if your child is immuno-compromised.

My kids are older now. Can my teenager benefit from your products?

Absolutely! A teenager's body and brain are still growing and so they can always use a nutrient boost. In fact, our products are great for the whole family; including mom and dad.

How do I store your products?

Once opened our products should be stored in the refrigerator for optimal freshness.

What is the shelf-life of your products?

Our products have gone through a special process to keep them fresh for as long as possible. Please refer to the Best Before date printed directly on the packaging. Once opened it is best to use the product within 45 days.

Oh no I forgot to refrigerate my bag!

Don't worry they still could be completely fine to eat!

If you forgot to refrigerate your bag after opening it, we recommend you open the bag to smell and taste the product. If they were kept outside in a cool, dark place they should still be fresh to consume. This is what you need to look out for:

  • Smell Test: If the product smells sour or has an off-putting odor, then we recommend you discard the product
  • Taste Test: If the product tastes bitter versus neutral and/or nutty, then we recommend you discard the product

Is your packaging recyclable?

We spent many months trying to source a fully recyclable bag for our products, but this meant we would have had to compromise on the integrity and safety of our products. Most seeds require a durable package that blocks out oxygen, light, and humidity in order to maintain their freshness and nutrient profile. We did manage to find a packaging partner that prints with sustainable digital ink. While this is a more costly solution, it was important us to to include sustainability as much as we could in our supply chain.

Are your products Non-GMO and Certified Organic?

Yes! We take pride in the quality of our ingredients. All of our products non-GMO and are certified USDA organic through Oregon Tilth which is a leading certifier, educator, and advocate for organic agriculture and products since 1974.

How do I know your products are safe for my babe?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. As moms ourselves, we are committed to ensuring the best possible quality and safety measures taken from recipe development to ingredient sourcing, through to each touchpoint in the manufacturing process. You can learn more about our safety measures here

Are probiotics safe for babies and kids?

There is extensive research that indicates that probiotics are safe and beneficial in normal, healthy infants and children. Our probiotic, BC30TM (Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086) is a natural, probiotic ingredient used in a variety of foods and beverages, including infant formulas. Backed by over 25 published papers, research shows BC30 can help support digestive health, immune health, and may help support protein utilization depending on the dosage.

Do you test for heavy metals?

Absolutely! We test every batch of products we produce for heavy metals and micro-organisms to ensure it is as safe as possible for consumption for your family.

Do any of your products contain allergens?

Our products are free from all major allergens but may contain small traces of coconut.

Are your products gluten free?

Yes our ingredients are gluten-free and produced in a gluten-free facility.

Are your products vegan?

Yes all of the ingredients used in our products are vegan.

Ordering, Shipping and Returns

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit https://tinysproutsfoods.com/account/register and follow the instructions on-screen.

When will my order arrive?

Orders that require shipping within the contiguous U.S. will be delivered within three to five business days for standard shipping and within 2 business days for expedited shipping. Shipping to countries outside of the U.S. may take 7-21 days. Please get in touch if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status.

How do I change or cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via care@tinysproutsfoods.com, we may be able to change or cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us at your own cost if you wish upon receiving it.

Where is my order?

Tracking information should have been provided in the 'Shipping Confirmation' email we sent to you when your order had left our warehouse. If your item is still missing, or has been marked as delivered and you have not received it, please contact us at care@tinysproutsfoods.com and we will be happy to help.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently offer shipping Worldwide!

Please note that if you request shipping outside of the USA or Canada you are responsible for any additional duties and taxes that may be applied.

What is the cost of shipping?

USA ORDERS: We are happy to offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders within the USA over $49.00 and a flat rate of $8.95 for any order under $49.00.

CANADA ORDERS: We are happy to offer a flat rate of $10.00 shipping on any size order.

ALL OTHER COUNTRIES: Shipping will be based on a combination of the size and weight of your order, plus the location it is being delivered to. Shipping cost will be displayed at checkout.

What is your return policy?

Tiny Sprouts Foods will accept return requests of unopened and unused products within 30 days. Once we receive your returned item, our team will review your request. Reimbursement of funds will be allocated back to the original form of payment used for purchase. The refund will not include shipping costs related to the original purchase and Tiny Sprouts Foods is not responsible for any shipping costs related to returning the order.
