Candy Cane Chia Bark

Yummy yogurt bark but amped up with extra fat, protein and fiber from chia seeds to keep little ones healthy and pooping this holiday season. We'll be mixing chia seeds into melted chocolate forever now!

Ingredients

  • 1.5-2 cups semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups whole-milk plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Tiny Sprouts Milled Chia Seeds + Vitamin D & Probiotics
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 6 candy canes, crushed into small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt (optional)
  • Tiny Sprouts Hemp Hearts for ✨sprinkles✨

 Directions

  1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Place chopped chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water; heat, stirring often, until melted.

  3. Stir milled chia seeds into the melted chocolate and pour mixture onto the parchment-lined pan, spreading it into an even layer about 1/8 inch thick.

  4. Refrigerate until the chocolate just begins to set, about 10 minutes.

  5. Meanwhile, combine yogurt and vanilla in a small bowl. Drizzle the yogurt mixture over the chocolate, and then lightly spread it in an even layer over the chocolate. Sprinkle with candy cane pieces, hemp heart sprinkles and salt (if using).

  6. Freeze until the yogurt completely sets (about 2 hours). Break into 20 pieces; serve frozen. Store in freezer.
