We're adding our boosters to ALL our baked goods this holiday season! Sneak them into brownie batter for an instant fiber, protein and omega-3 boost that kiddos need to keep them strong all month long!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour (can sub oat flour)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp Tiny Sprouts Milled Flaxseeds
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
Optional: semi-sweet chocolate chips
Extras for decoration: pretzels, candies, candy eyes
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan and then line with a piece of parchment paper with some overhang on the sides.
- Mash bananas in a large bowl. Measure out 1 cup (about 3 small bananas). Combine with the rest of the wet ingredients.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Gently fold in chocolate chips (if using).
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Allow to cool before slicing with a knife. Cut into triangles and decorate!
