Flaxseed French Toast

Weekends are for pancakes, waffles, and FRENCH TOAST! And this French toast is not only yummy but packs and additional nutritional boost of fiber, omega 3's and so much more! A great brekkie to keep you little one nourished all weekend long.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole wheat bread
  • 1 medium egg 
  • 1 tsp Tiny Sprouts Organic Milled Flaxseed Booster

 

Directions

  1. Whisk together egg and milled flaxseed until well combined.⁠
  2. Soak bread into egg +  flax mixture until most of the mixture is soaked up⁠
  3. Pan fry for 2-3 mins per side on a buttered pan⁠.
  4. Cut into 'fingers' for your little one and serve with yogurt and berries for a perfectly balanced breakfast.⁠

 

Recipe Notes

  • Gluten-free if using a gluten free bread!
  • We do not recommend adding any sweetener (honey or maple syrup) for babies under the age of 24 months.
